The sun was shining last week in Las Vegas as I was showing homes in Sun City Summerlin.  This Del Webb 55 plus community located in the NW part of town is fantastic.  It features approximately 7,700 homes and townhomes.  Residents can choose from four recreation centers with every possible activity available.



All homes and townhomes in this Las Vegas retirement area are single story with at least a two car attached garage (some also have golf cart garages).  Golf course view lots are also (at times) available.

Valley of Fire is located about a hour or so away from Las Vegas.  You hop on  I15 (go north, towards Utah) and take Exit 75, go about 18 miles east and you are there.  Super easy drive.  It is a nice place to visit this time of the year.

It is $10 per car ($2 discount for Nevada residents).  At the Visitor Center there is a vending machine with water and soft drinks.  Otherwise, bring your own food and drinks.  There are restroom and picnic facilities through out the park.
