2009 Winter Water Restrictions

From November 1 through February 28th you are limited to watering your yard one day a week. The day assigned will depending upon your watering group (see your water bill for that information).

The Las Vegas Water Valley District recommends:

Lawns: 3 sprinkler cycles of 4 mins. each.

Desert Landscaping: 1 cycle of 30 - 90 mins.

Other water news:
The Southern Nevada Water Authority wants to raise some fees. A public hearing will be held on December 1. Visit their web site for more details.

Water service employees always drive official vehicles that are clearly marked and always display a Water District id badge.
